Verga won’t run for Legislature again
Gloucester -Rep. Anthony Verga, ousted in September’s Democratic primary by Ann-Margaret Ferrante, told the State House News Service on Monday that he won’t seek to reclaim his seat. He added, however, that he does not plan to retire and did not rule out a return to public life, although he said he looked forward to a new job with “a little bit of regularity to it.”

Gloucester -Robert Nelson Lundberg, M.D., respected surgeon, of Annisquam, died peacefully at home on November 18, 2008, of natural causes. He was the husband of Doris (Brunell) Lundberg.
